Amsterdam 90% Blackout Velvet Curtain – Brown

The Amsterdam curtain in an elegant taupe-brown shade brings warmth, depth and a refined finish to the room. Its natural color pairs beautifully with wood furniture and beige, cream, greige, black or terracotta finishes, making it suitable for modern, classic and rustic interiors.

The velvet fabric has a fine, soft-touch texture and a fluid drape that creates graceful, well-defined folds. Its blackout construction can reduce incoming light by up to 90%, helping create a more private, comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.

The fabric also helps lessen the effect of outdoor temperature changes around the window area. It is suitable for bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, home offices and other spaces where enhanced privacy and light control are desired.

Due to the natural pile of velvet, the shade may appear lighter or darker depending on the direction of the fibers, viewing angle, room lighting and screen settings. This visual variation is a normal characteristic of velvet.

Size guidance

Measure the full width of the curtain rod or track rather than only the window. For a rich appearance and attractive folds, the recommended total curtain width is approximately 1.5–2 times the width of the rod or track.

Choose the 2-panel option when you want one panel on each side of the window. The height can be customized up to a maximum of 275 cm.

If the window opens inward, allow approximately 20 cm of clearance between the hanging system and the moving section of the window so the curtain does not obstruct opening.
