Yemen 205 80% Blackout Curtain – Light Grey

The Yemen 205 – Light Grey Curtain is made from high-quality blackout polyester fabric and provides approximately 80% light blocking. Its bright and neutral light grey shade gives interiors an elegant, airy and contemporary appearance while remaining highly versatile and easy to coordinate.

The fabric has a fine and pleasant texture, a smooth and uniform surface and a dense construction. It forms full, well-defined folds, while its naturally fluid drape gives the curtain a refined, balanced and premium appearance.

With an approximate 80% blackout level, Yemen 205 significantly reduces strong incoming daylight and glare. It does not create complete darkness, but it provides effective light control and increased privacy, helping create a comfortable and visually balanced indoor atmosphere.

The Light Grey shade has a neutral, bright and versatile character. Depending on natural or artificial lighting, the fabric may appear as light grey, pearl grey, very pale grey or grey with subtle silvery undertones. This neutral character makes the curtain suitable for both warm and cool interior colour palettes.

Light Grey pairs beautifully with white, ivory, cream, beige, taupe, greige, charcoal grey, black and natural wood tones. For a more sophisticated interior, it can be combined with gold, bronze or brass accents, marble, travertine and natural stone.

In living rooms, Yemen 205 creates an elegant and bright backdrop without visually overwhelming the space. In bedrooms, its neutral shade contributes to a calm and relaxing atmosphere. It also integrates easily into kitchens, dining areas, home offices and guest rooms designed in modern, minimalist, Scandinavian, Japandi, contemporary or classic styles.

MEASURING AND ORDERING

The curtain is sold per panel. For an arrangement consisting of two separate panels, add two products to your cart.

Measure the complete width of the curtain rod or track, not only the width of the window. For appropriate coverage and fuller folds, we recommend ordering a total fabric width greater than the width of the rod or track, depending on the desired fullness.

The curtain height should be determined according to the hanging system and the desired distance from the floor. The maximum available height for Yemen 205 is 280 cm.

For windows that open inward, allow sufficient space between the edge of the window and the area where the curtain gathers so that the window can open without catching the fabric.

BENEFITS

Yemen 205 combines the practical advantages of blackout fabric with the versatility of a neutral light grey colour. Its approximately 80% blackout construction helps manage natural light and provides increased privacy.

The dense fabric and fine texture create a premium appearance, while the fluid drape produces elegant and uniform folds. This makes the curtain suitable for standard windows as well as large glazed areas and balcony doors.

Light Grey is one of the most versatile choices for window decoration. It can complement an interior without dominating the overall design and coordinates easily with a wide range of colours, materials and finishes.

Combined with white and cream, it creates a bright and refined atmosphere. Paired with beige, greige and natural wood, it produces a warm contemporary look. Combined with black, charcoal grey, marble or metallic accents, it can contribute to a modern and sophisticated interior.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The product colour may vary slightly depending on room lighting, screen settings and fabric batch. Depending on the lighting, the shade may appear as light grey, pearl grey, very pale grey or grey with subtle silvery undertones.

The approximate 80% blackout level may vary depending on external light intensity, window size, ordered width, fold density and installation method.

This product should not be considered a 100% blackout curtain. Light may enter from the sides, top or bottom of the curtain. For a higher level of room darkening, we recommend ensuring that the curtain fully covers the window area and extends beyond its edges.
